Westmont
Located in DuPage County, Westmont is a village of about 25,000 residents. Over six square miles, residents can choose from established housing near the griddled center of town, apartments on the periphery, or look out to the newer developments—and curvilinear streets—of outer neighborhoods. The local park district manages 20 parks and play spaces over 150 acres, including a bocce court, golf course, spray park, and skate park. Year-round community events include activities for all ages. Westmont has several unique elements that set it apart. The village celebrates its role in blues history with an exhibition dedicated to Muddy Wates. Together with Clarendon Hills, Westmont sponsors the Richmond Education Gardens, including native vegetable, wildflower, butterfly, wall and rain gardens, and a hobbyist apiary. Highways connect much of Chicagoland, or commuters can catch the Metra at the Westmont Station.
